"Escape From Reality"
Was there something you always wanted to be as child? Some children want to be doctors, or firemen or teachers. I always wanted to be an actress...

"A Cross Overlaying the Moon"
Colleen knew what it felt like to have a void in her life. She tried to fill hers with drinking, therapy, vacations and chasing after her dream of acting. It wasn’t until she met God that she finally realized where true fulfillment lied.

“Treasures of Darkness”
Years ago, the Lord illumined this Scripture verse to me:"I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, (Isaiah 45:3 NKJV). Over the years, I have often asked myself, "What are these treasures that God wants to give?"

“Joy is the Abundant Life”
Once we were deceived, living in darkness. The Thief tried to rob, steal and kill our destiny. Then, we came into the light. We received a promise, “a new life and life abundantly.” Within the abundance we have received, He also desires to bestow upon us, “joy.”

Believer or Follower?
A local Christian radio commentator asked a thought-provoking question. “Are you a believer or are you a follower?” What is the first word that comes to your mind?” Most people answered, “Believer.”

"Got Gasoline?"
I was driving my car when I heard the sound of my gas alarm go off. Usually I would drive to the nearest gas station and fill up the tank. However, during this particular morning, I heard the Lord say, “If you do not fill your tank with gas the car will stop.”

Reflections
Part of an evangelist's responsibility is to exhort Christians to "go" out into the world and make disciples." This message shakes the majority of the church out of their comfort zones; especially when the word "go" in relation to the "Great Commission" is repetitive, it can put a damper on relationships in the evangelists home church.

My Love is Your Warfare
To my amazement, during the Christmas Eve sermon, both cinnamon and vanilla scents and their meanings were prophetically preached. I held up a goblet to confirm the word. Cinnamon represents the goodness of God. Vanilla represents the rest, peace, and simplicity of the Lord and also has healing qualities that tend to have a calming effect.

See The Harvest?
What would have happened if the original disciples were not obedient to the Great Commission? Where would we be? Jesus told His disciples to preach the Good News of the Kingdom, to cast out demons, feed the poor and heal the sick...

Growing in Humility
During worship recently, the Lord gave me a vision of a tadpole swimming in a pond. Then the word came forth. "Some of you are like tadpoles in My pond of life. You must grow before you can climb up on your lily pad. A tadpole does not have arms or legs. It swims but it cannot climb. You cannot escape the growing process; you must go through it. I am calling you to grow first, then go."

The Fathers Love
The heart is the center of spiritual activity and the operations of human life. It governs our actions and affects our emotional state: joy, sorrow, anxiety, courage, fear, and love. Boiling water represents a heated situation, such as when our buttons are pushed. When the heart becomes immersed in heat, whatever is inside will be forced through a filter and will then spew out from the mouth. "For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh" (Matthew 12:34 KJV).

Fresh Fish
My Father in heaven had been prompting me to go to a new fishing spot. I wasn't too surprised when He led me there as I had been praying for a certain fish to get saved. This fish did not know what air was, but he would come up to the top and without lifting his head out from the water he peeked his eye through to the outside.
